CODY MARCH

BIOGRAPHY

I was raised in Monroe, OR, and graduated from Monroe High School in 2003.  During high school, I was a student manager with both the football and wrestling teams for 4 years, and also played 3 years of varsity baseball.  My involvement with the wrestling team was the first exposure I had to tournaments, and my interest in tournament operations blossomed early.  In the four years since I graduated, I have coordinated and directed a number of tournaments, including the 2004 District II/2A Championships, the 2007 Benton County Championships, and the annual Monroe Invitational, which typically draws 12-15 teams and over 100 participants yearly.

I am a 2007 graduate of Oregon State University, where I graduated with a B.S. in Applied Exercise and Sport Science with a Business Administration minor.  I spent 4 years as a student manager for the OSU Men’s Basketball Team, and the later 2 of those years I was the Head Manager and Film Coordinator for the team.  In that capacity, I directly supervised a team of 4 student managers and oversaw all film exchange and video operations for the team.  I am now a manager for the OSU Women’s Volleyball Team, where I focus mostly on video and film work, and helping to coordinate the logistics of the team’s two annual spring club tournaments, which draw anywhere from 175-250 teams.  I am also the Director of Football Operations for Monroe High School, as well as an assistant baseball coach at Monroe.
