Reporting Maintenance Issues
University Housing & Dining Services values facilities that are visually appealing, safe, healthy, clean, and operate at a level that minimize the impact on the environment.
Please let us know if you are aware of a maintenance issue or damage that needs to be repaired.
In Your Room
To update your room condition, report damages, or request repairs in your room use the Update Room Condition link on MyUHDS.
In Common Areas
To submit maintenance requests or service for common areas including lounges, hallways, building exteriors, and restrooms use the maintenance request form.
If you have a maintenance emergency,
please contact a UHDS Service Center or a Residential Education
Staff member by phone or in person.
UHDS Maintenance Room Entry Protocol
University Housing & Dining Services is committed to providing visually appealing, safe, healthy, and clean facilities. If you have submitted a maintenance request, our staff will be entering your room to conduct the work. Maintenance staff work in student rooms between 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM, Monday - Friday except in emergency situations.
In order to respect your space, our staff will not move personal belongings; please remove all belongings around the area to be repaired and notify your roommate that you have submitted a maintenance request. Contact UHDS Operations & Facilities Work Reception at 737-2032 if you would like to be present while the work is conducted.
