NEWS: A Name Change -- This is now President's Commission on Campus Climate, Dec. 12, 1997. In accepting the name change recognition by the commission, President Risser said the name change "allow us to focus more positively, and to address a much broader array of issues. In addition, the Commission is re-thinking its role and activities, and this change of name signals the Commission's renewed energy and vision."

The OSU President's Commission on Hate-Related Activities, now the President's Commission on Campus Climate, was created during the '93-'94 academic year in response to the growing number of hate-related activities occurring on the OSU campus. Members were sought and the commission first started meeting during the '94-'95 academic year. A summary of PCCC's activities thus far can be found below in the annual reports and in the minutes of past meetings.

All of the President's Commission on Campus Climate's meetings are open to the public. Next Meeting: Jan. 6, 1998 in MU Boardroom at 5:15 p.m.
