Oregon State University awards ungraded credit for achievement on certain College Board Advanced Placement (AP) examinations. Information pertaining to specific AP credit policies is provided by high school counseling centers or may be obtained from the OSU Office of Admissions. Advanced standing credit may also be granted for scores of 5 or higher on the International Baccalaureate (IB) Higher Level examinations. IB advanced placement policies are determined by appropriate academic departments.
OSU also offers additional benefits for students who complete the full IB diploma.If total score is 30 or higher, benefits include guaranteed admission, sophomore standing, and a $2,000 renewable scholarship, if no other university scholarship is received.
